Giving helping hands to Muslim widows of Majeedpuram village at Samanthurai - Ampara, 24 Infantry Division coordinated and distributed dry rations packs each worth of Rs. 3500.00 among 65 those under privilege civilians on 12 November 2023. The donation was arranged with the assistance of Ms. Razard Nuwshard, the President of “Wings of Humanity Organization” and Mr. SLM Nasroonthe social work coordinator of Addalachchenai.
The distribution programme was organized with the guidance of General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division, Major General W Chandrasiri RSP USP psc in liaison with the government representatives of the Majeedpuram in Samanthurei DS Division Ampara.
