The 24 Infantry Division in coordination with Ven. Suseema Thero of Buddangala Buddist Monstery conducted a donation of dry ration packs for people in Walathapitiya Tamil village in Amapara. 400 packs of essential food items (each pack worth of Rs.3000) were distributed during the programme.
Ven. Suseema Thero, General Officer Commanding of 24 Infantry Division Major General Chaminda Lamahewa and officials of Divisional Secretariat Ampara participated in the event.
