24 INFANTRY DIVISION BIDS FAREWELL TO OUTGOING SECURITY FORCES COMMANDER

In a solemn yet heartfelt ceremony, the 24 Infantry Division paid tribute to their outgoing Security Forces Commander, Major General S A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc on 23 November 2024, as he relinquished command. The event marked the conclusion of a tenure characterized by remarkable leadership, operational success, and unwavering commitment to national security.

Senior military officers attended the farewell ceremony at Headquarters 24 Infantry Division, reflecting the respect and admiration Major General S A Kulatunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc garnered during his service. In accordance with military traditions, he was saluted by the guard turnout and welcomed to the GOC’s office. Later, he addressed troops under the 24 Infantry Division.
