The island-wide COVID-19 vaccination programme of the Army, launched with the blessings of HE the President under the directions of General Shavendra Silva, Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army covered Uhana and Pothuvil areas on Friday (03) under the supervision of the Major General Chaminda Lamahewa, General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division.
The vaccination programe was carried out by Army Medical troops with the support of the troops of 24 Infantry Division.
