In the wake of rapid spread of Covid-19 virus in Ampara district, 24 Infantry Division launched a public awareness campaign by displaying educative banners on Covid preventive measures and health guidelines covering every town in Ampara district.
The campaign was organized following the discussions held between the General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division Major General Chaminda Lamahewa and the Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade Colonal Chandra Abeykoon with religious leaders and social activists in this regard.
