24 Infantry Division organized a donation program of 04 million worth of medical equipment to Kalmunai and Ampara Hospitals on Thursday (07) with the finanacial assistance of Janashakthi insurance.
General Officer Commanding 24 Infantry Division, Major General Chaminda Lamahewa, Commander 241 Infantry Brigade Colonel Chandra Abeykoon, Civil affairs Officer 24 Infantry Division, Lieutenant Colonel Anas Ahamed and Commanding Officer of 3rd Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Major Shantha Wijekoon participated for this occasion.
24 Infantry Division is providing maximum contribution to the health sector to control the rapid spread of covid-19 virus on the instructions of the Commander Security Force - East Major General Channa Weerasuriya.
