233 Infantry Brigade Organizes Wesak Dansala

Under the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC, psc, and under the close supervision of the General Officer Commanding the 23 Infantry Division, the troops of the 233 Infantry Brigade organized a Wesak Kadala Dansala as part of ongoing civil-military coordination efforts.

The dansala was held along Trincomalee Road, based on the concept introduced by the Commander of the 233 Infantry Brigade, to serve devotees traveling during the Wesak season.

This event was recognized as one of the most glamorous and well-organized in the area in recent times, reflecting the strong bond between the military and the local community.
