The troops of 233 Infantry Brigade under command to 23 Infantry Division organized a school accessories distribution programme for students in grade 6 of Vigneshwaram Junior School - Kathiraveli, Thirumagal Vidyalaya - Panichchankerni, Arunthathy Vidyalaya - Kandalady, Vammiraddawan Vidyalaya and Vakarei Maha Vidyalaya in Batticaloa District on 17 April 2022.
The Programme was conducted under the direction and supervision of the Commander 233 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Wasantha Hewage and the Mr Suresh (Owner of the Murugan Business Kurunegala) provided the financial sponsorship for this programme.
Senior officers, officers, the principle, teachers of the schools and the parents of the students participated in the event.
