Troops of the 233 Infantry Brigade under command to the 23 Infantry Division of Security Force Headquarters – East organized a donation of 20 dry ration packs (worth of Rs : 120,000.00) for needy families in Panichchankerni area in Batticaloa District on Monday (17).
In response to a request made by the Commander of 233 Infantry Brigade, Colonel Wasantha Hewage, generous donor Mr Suresh, a businessman in the Kurunegala area sponsored this humanitarian project.
The Commander of 233 Infantry Brigade, Civil Coordinating Officer of 233 Infantry Brigade, Senior Officers and civilians of the village attended the programme.
