231 INFANTRY BRIGADE CONDUCTS COVID 19 VACCINATION DRIVE

Under the supervision of Commander 231Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Vijitha Hettiarachchi the troops of the 231 Infantry Brigade conducted Covid 19 vaccination drive in Batticaloa district on Friday(25).

Initially, with the support of 11(V) SLSR troops and the Sri Lanka Army medical team conducted Covid vaccination drive for the employees of Brandix Apparel Solution Limited in Ariyampathy. Meanwhile, the troops of 4 GW and 2 (V) SLSC provided the assistance for another Covid vaccination drive conducted by MOH Valachchenai in Passikudah.

During the programme 606 Employees of Brandix Apparel Solution and 261 hotel employees were vaccinated with “Sinopharm” Vaccine.
