231 INFANTRY BRIGADE AND 12 GAMUNU WATCH DISTRIBUTE DRY RATION PACKS TO 80 LOW-INCOME FAMILIES

Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, and the instructions of the General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division, troops of the 231 Infantry Brigade and 12 Gamunu Watch, with the sponsorship of Hemas (Pvt) Ltd, distributed dry ration packs to 80 low-income families in the Dimbulagala Dalukana area at Prathiba Hall, Mahaweli, on 28th March 2025.

The event was attended by the Commander, Security Forces (East); the General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division; the Commander, 231 Infantry Brigade; the Commanding Officer, 12 Gamunu Watch; senior officers; officers; other ranks; the General Director of Hemas (Pvt) Ltd; police officers; Mahaweli officers; Grama Niladhari officers; and local civilians.
