231 BRIGADE VESAK ZONE ILLUMINATES BATTICALOA CITY
231 Brigade and under Command Battalions in 23 Division under Security Forces (East). Organized Vesak Zone Comprised with Vesak Lantern Exhibition & Competition, Dansala Programme for the Vesak Day Celebration in Hindu College Ground Batticaloa from 24th May 2013 to 26th May 2013 . The Opening Ceremony was Grace by Mrs Charles District Secretary and District agent of Batticaloa and Mr. K kobindarajab vice Chancellor of the Eastern University , with the Blessing of all Religious Leaders in Batticaloa. Participation of thousands of Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim Public Shows the Religious Harmony among the People in Batticaloa District and Public Confident towards the Security forces .
