In order to support the country’s drive to ensure food security, the troops of 23 Infantry Division cultivated 17 Acres of Paddy at Division Headquarters, Punani during the “Yala Season”.
The troops of 23 Infantry Division ceremoniously commenced harvesting of paddy on 21 July 2022. Brigadier S A Kulatunge RWP RSP USP psc, the General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division together with Officers and Other ranks attended to the harvesting programme.
