23 Infantry Division Hosts Tree Planting Programme

Troops of the 23 Infantry Division organised a tree planting programme on 09 October 2024, at the 23 Infantry Division Headquarters premises to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Major General W.P. Kariyawasam, the General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division. During the programme, nearly 600 saplings were planted, including jackfruit, lime, beli, wood apple and karada.

Senior officers, Officers and Other Ranks participated in this event.
