Human Resource Development is the framework for helping employees to develop their personal and organizational skills, knowledge, and abilities. It includes such opportunities as employee training, employee career development, performance management, succession planning, key employee identification, and organization development.
With the guidance of General Officer Commanding Brig BVDP Abeynayaka USP ndu, 23 Division organized a Workshop on Human Resource Development with the collaboration of eminent personalities from the University of Peradeniya under the topics of ‘Employee Discipline Management’, ‘Grievance Handling’, ‘Safety Management’ and ‘Career Management’.
Head, Department of Business Finance, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya, Dr. Athula Ekanayake and the senior lecturers of the University of Peradeniya, Mr. Nagarajah Agilan, Mr. Amila Bandara and Mr. Sameera Fernando conducted a full day workshop on the said topics on 28 February 2018 at the Headquarters, 23 Division.
42 officers enthusiastically participated for the programme and all lectures were resulted to upgrade the knowledge of the participants.
