Gentleman’s happiness comes from donating many things in many ways for the present and future generations’. It has been proven by the members of the ‘Arunalu’ Charity Programme which was organised to donate many kinds of school items to Kandegama School in Aralaganwila area.\r\nThe President of the ‘Arunalu’ Charity Programme, Mr. Sanjeewa Siriwardena and members joining with troops of 23 Div organized a charity programme on 20 March 2017 at Kandegama School in Aralaganwila area. The programme was conducted throughout the day and many events were held including a health programme conducted by Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps and Dental Section of Polonnaruwa hospital, and a cricket match with the participation of Nuwan Kulasekara and Sachithra Senanayake, international players of Sri Lankan cricket team. \r\nThe second session of the programme was lighted with a musical programme conducted by Mr. Nalin Perera and the crew of the Marians musical band. The event was terminated by presenting Rs.500000/= worth of stationary, laboratory items, musical items, sports items and many equipment for the home science section of the school. Finally, the principal extended the gratitude to all members of the ‘Arunalu’ Charity Programme and for the Sri Lanka Army for coordinating this event to make it a success. \r\n
