The 221 Infantry Brigade Organized a ‟Chickpea”dansalaform 1000 hrs to 1300 hrs on 10 June 2025 in Front of the “GokonnaRajamahaViharaya”, Fort Fredrick,Trincomalee. It was organised by all ranks of the 221 Infantry Brigade as per the instructionsgiven by Commander 221 Infantry Brigade, Col EWRSB EhelepolaUSP USACGSC.
The Dansala was arranged for the devotees visiting sacred religions sites including the historically significant GokannaViharaya and KoneswaramKovil to pay homage during Posonpoya day.Over 1000 religions devotees form Buddhist, Tamil and Muslim communities were benefitted from this noble gesture.
