In response to a request made by Dr MB Udeni, Consultant Transfusion Physician of Regional Blood Centre – Trincomalee, troops belongs to 223 Infantry Brigade and 6 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (SLAC) volunteered to donate blood for the benefit of needy patient on Thursday (20) at 6 SLAC Battalion Headquarter, Pankulam.
The programme was organized under the directions given by Major General WBWMRSP Aluvihare RWP RSP, General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division and Brigadier WANS Perera USP, Commander, 223 Infantry Brigade coordinated the event.
