A Musical programme (Friendship Music Evening) was organized for promote harmony among the multi-ethnic and multi-religious people living in 22 Infantry Division Area of Responsibility at Sampur Central High School Stadium on 29 November 2022. The programme was organized under the concept and guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, Major General Saliya Amunugama and patronage of the Commander, 223 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Ravindra Jayasinghe.
The Musical Band for the programme was given by the 4 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and a large number of civil personnel in the area were participated in the entertainment programme. Senior Naval Officers from neighbouring Naval Establishments, distinguished guests from administrative authorities in area participated in the event. Commander Security Forces (East), Major General Sujeewa Hettiarachchi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
