22 INFANTRY DIVISION EDUCATES THE PUBLIC ON COVID - 19

A series of community based awareness programmes on prevention from transmission of COVID 19 got underway at public places of Trincomalee District on Thursday (05). The programmes were launched on the direction of Major General Channa Weerasuriya, General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division and with the supervision of the Commanders of 221, 222 and 223 Infantry Brigades where a large gathering of civilians were educated on preventive measures against COVID 19 and its critical effects for the health of human beings.

6 SLAC, 15 SLLI, 22 VIR and 2 (V) GR Battalions steered the programmes at public places of Agbopura, Kanthale, Tambalagamuwa, Verugal, Serunuwara and Trincomalee town sector.
