A Seminar on Mathematics was organized by the 221 Brigade in Trincomalee for the students who are to be sit for the GCE (O/L) examination – 2018. It was held at the auditorium of Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya Trincomalee on (13) Thursday. The aim of this seminar was to raise the standards of the students and to prepare them well for the forthcoming exam.
This seminar was organized under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding 22 Division Major General Aruna Jayasekara. Well experienced teachers, Mr. D Indrawansa Kolabage and Mr. S Rathnayaka conducted the seminar based on questions in Mathematics. Around 251 students participated in this seminar.Commander 221 Brigade, Brigadier DUB Gunasekara, Senior Officers, representatives of the Education Department and teachers attended the inauguration of the seminar.
