22 DIVISION TROOPS COORDINATE DISTRIBUTE OF SCHOOL ACCESSORIES
22 Division Troops organized a donation campaign along with old Anandians Group 75 - 80 at Somapura Maha Vidyalaya Kallar in Trincomalee District on Sunday (08). Somapura Maha Vidyalaya received a large stock of school accessories. Musical Instruments, exercise books and other stationery items. The distribution held at school Auditorium was organized by 22 VIR troops.\r\n \r\nIn the meantime fulfilling a long term requirement of the Somapura Vidyalaya Shrine, Computer room and Library was constructed by 22 VIR troops. Under the guidance of the Maj Gen KPA Jayasekara WWV RSP USP ndc psc. General Officer Commanding 22 Division and under the supervision of the Colonel DMKDB Pussella. Brigade Commander 222 Brigade following request made by Somapura School principal to the Army. Sponsored by old Anandians Group 75 - 8o \r\n\r\n221 Brigade Commander Brigadier KPS Premalal was the day’s chief guest together with 222 Brigade Commander and several senior Army officers, members of the old, Anandians Group 75 - 80, teachers, and parents, also participated at the event. The total cost of the donation was Rs. 7 lakhs. \r\n
