On the request made by Ven. Gnanakiththi Thero – Chief Incumbent of Jayasumanarama Temple Trincomalee, 22 Infantry Division troops provided their assistance to conduct a Kapruka Poojawa and Perahera held on 28 August 2020 at the Jayasumanarama Temple Trincomalee.
Large number of devotees including students of the Daham Pasala and parents, villagers participated in the event. This worthy cause was carried out under supervision of the General Officer Commanding of the 22 Infantry Division Major General CD Weerasuriya RWP RSP ndu.
