Troops of the 22 Infantry Division, under command to the Security Force (East) recently took steps to hand over a stock of essential medical equipment, gifted to General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head of the Green Agriculture Operation Center (GAOC).
The stock including 16810 Face Masks, 300 PPE Kits, 13 Hand Gloves (full hand) and 500 Disposable Face Shields were officially handed over to General Hospital, Trincomalee by Major General Sanath Aluvihare, General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division.
