As per the directions given by the General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division and Commander 221 Infantry Brigade, 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment organized another community project in line with World Children’s Day 2025 at Mineral Sand Sinhala College, which consisted of a total number of 59 students on 01 October 2025.
This initiative was conducted under the close supervision of the Commanding Officer of 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment, Lt Col Rohana Ekanayake RWP RSP psc. Under this program, arrangements were made to hold an entertaining program with fun games and musical entertainment for school students to showcase their talents.
School teachers and parents also participated in this program and 02x15 members of the 20th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment participated to make this program success. Troops organized all aspects of this program and provided a delicious packeted lunch for the school students at the end of the program.
