In celebration of World Children’s Day, the troops of the 18 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment (VIR) organised a donation programme at the Vision Hope Day Care Centre in Pandirippu on 01 October 2024.
Under the guidance of Brigadier L.S.D.N Pathirathna RSP USP, Commander of the 241 Infantry Brigade, and Major W.H.R Senarathna RWP RSP, Commanding Officer of 18 VIR, school items were distributed to the children and staff. A delicious lunch was also served during the event. Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks, participated in the programme.
