THE “SACRED SHRINE” OF THE “MALLINDA SRI SUWARNA PHANA PUDABIMA” TEMPLE WAS OPENING

The “Sacred Shrine” of the “Mallinda Sri Suwarna Pahana Pudabima” temple was Opening by Chief Guest Commander Security Forces - East, Major General Priyantha Jayawardena in the temple Premises at Sevanapitiya, under the religious observation on Sunday (23). In parallel with the traditional “Katina Chivara Pooja” Ceremony in the year of 2022.

This invaluable religious programme was arranged under the guidelines and supervisions of the Commander Security Forces - East with the labor contribution of Security Forces - East Troops. The “Sacred Shrine” was Opening at the temple premises by a colorful procession including many other traditional items, Meritorious act was conducted by Venerable "Tikkaanpathane Rathanadeepa" thero, Chief Prelate of the “Mallinda Sri Suwarna Phana Pudabima” temple at Sevanapitiya.

Furthermore, the Chief Prelate of the temple with Maha Sanga, Colonel Rajive Fernando, Chief Coordinating Civil Affairs Officer, Security Forces - East, Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks from Security Force - East and Villagers were attended to the Occasion.
