Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, Commander of the Army, attended the event as the Chief Guest, together with Mrs Swendrini Dissanayake, President of the ASVU.

The Army Seva Vanitha Unit continued its relief efforts with another donation programme, strengthening support for affected families under the guidance of Mrs. Swendrini Dissanayake, the President of the Army Seva Vanitha Unit.

Dry rations, drinking water, clothes, and sanitary items were donated to the people in the heavily affected areas of Chilaw by “Ditwah”.

The President Army Seva Vanitha Unit initiated a donation programme to distribute dry-ration packs, clothes, drinking water, cooked meal packs, and sanitary items to the affected families on 03 December 2025 in rural areas of Chilaw.
