Welfare shops, equipped with all essentials have been set up in the suburbs of Colombo in order to provide essential food commoditees and items at subsidized prices for the families of Officers/ Other Ranks and civil employees.
In addition to the welfare shops, ‘Seva Vanitha Budget Centre’ functions under this project. Those shops consist of a Mini Supermarket, Bakery, Juice Bar, Ladies' Beauty Salon, Gents’ Salon, Tailor Shop, Cafeteria and fast food corner. The completely-renovated storied building has been erected with a Mini Banquet Hall where social gatherings, functions, etc could be accommodated at reasonable rates. - 'Seva Vanitha Budget Centre’ - Manning Town Family Quarers Premises
