The primary focus of this project is to provide essential meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to the required Army personnel. This welfare food project is meticulously maintained and overseen by the Army Seva Vanitha Unit. The aim is to ensure that all Army personnel have access to nutritious and satisfying meals throughout the day, supporting their physical well-being and enabling them to carry out their duties effectively. Following welfare food projects are maintained by Army Seva Vanitha Unit.

Further, on a suggestion of the then President of the Seva Vanitha Unit, a state-of-the-art Seva Vanitha Bakery Division was established on 03 January 2013 at the Manning Town married quarters premises to provide food and beverages for special occasions of regiments, units and civilians at affordable prices and also ‘People's Restaurant’ was established at the Kotelawala Defence University Hospital premises on 10 December 2020.
