  • More Expatriates Brought Down-NOCPCO

    As of this morning (2), a total of 545 including 541 locally-identified persons and 4 expatriates, UAE, (2) and Japan (2) were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, are 294 persons from Colombo region, 130 persons from Kalutara area and 36 from Kandy region, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

  • Death Toll Goes up by Nine - NOCPCO

    As of this morning (22), a total of 491 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them, are three expatriates and a foreigner who arrived from Turkey. All other 487 are from locally-identified affectees. Of those persons, 292 are from Colombo, 87 from Gampaha, 17 from Kurunegala and others are from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

    As of this morning (21), a total of 439 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them are three foreigners, including a seafarer and one Sri Lankan seafarer. All other 435 are from locally-identified affectees. Of those persons, 160 are from Colombo, 71 from Gampaha,21 from Kalutara and others are from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

    As of this morning (20), a total of 439 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Among them are one seafarer, one expatriate from India and all others 437 from locally-identified affectees. Of those persons, 305 are from Colombo, 58 from Gampaha and others are from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

  • 327 Recovered Ones Leave Hospitals in Past 24 Hrs-NOCPCO

    As of this morning (19), a total of 327 more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. 2 of them are seafarers and all other 325 were from locally-identified affectees. Of those persons, 157 are from Colombo, 111 from Gampaha, 6 from Rathnapura and others are from different districts, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

    As of this morning (18), a total of 401more persons were confirmed positive to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. 3of them are seafarers and all other 398 were from locally-identified affectees. Of those persons, 201 are from Colombo, 82 from Gampaha and 32 from Kalutara, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

  • Commander Joins SLMA's Online Educative Programme on Communicative Skills

    Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, in his capacity as Head of the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) was invited this evening (16) by the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) to contribute to an online learning programme, meant for development of communicative skills for frontline health workers and the general public at large.

Of those persons 541 are from Colombo, 39 from Gampaha and 08 from Galle, states the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
