SFHQ-West-Organized Vaccination Drive Continuing

Troops of the Security Force HQ-West, together with medical staff of the Army Hospital in Panagoda carried out the vaccination programme on Monday (6) in Bodhirajaramaya, Panagoda.

Major General Sujeewa Senerathyapa, Commander, Security Forces West supervised the troops during this vaccination programme, together with Major General Crishantha Gnanarathna, General Officer Commanding, 14 Division, Brigade Commanders and commanding officers.

The Army, empowering the ongoing vaccination drive is now fully committed to this national drive in the island, including mobile vaccination programmes on the directions of General Shavendra Silva, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Army and Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak as per instructions of HE the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
