Seva Vanitha

On the occasion of the 17th Anniversary of the 10 (V) Engineer Services Regiment, under the guidance of the Unit Commanding Officer, Major SANC Suwandaratna CES, and the senior member of the 10 (V) ESR Seva Vanitha Unit, Mrs. I.S. Nisansala Maduwanthi Wijesingha on 2ndApril 2026, the child of S/751892 W1 RGG Jayalath, RG Pinith Avintha who is pursuing his education with a neurological disability was provided with the necessary school supplies to support his education. Furthermore a monetary donation was made by the senior member of the Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. I.S. Nisansala Maduwanthi Wijesinghato purchase the necessary sanitary and protective materials for the child of S/10S00256 CPL Chaminda RG who is living with a complete neurological disability.

Under the guidance of the President Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Engineer Services, Mrs. Aruni Chandrasekara, a programme to provide financial assistance to 12 soldiers of CES whose houses were destroyed due to the Ditwah Cyclone was organized on 15 March 2026 at the Regimental Headquarters Panagoda.

An initiative on providing financial assistance and essentials to 7 children of other ranks who have passed the Grade 5 scholarship examination in 2025 and to 14 other ranks who got affected by Cyclone Ditwah was conducted by the Seva Vanitha Branch of Corps of Engineer Services under the guidance of the President Mrs Aruni Chandrasekara on 15 March 2026 at 9(V) Engineer Services Regiment with the presence of Seva Vanitha Branch members.

A virtual meeting was successfully conducted via Google Meeting under the leadership of the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Engineer Services, Mrs Aruni Chandrasekara, on 13 February 2026 with the participation of spouses of Commanding Officers from all CES units.
