Program was held on 07.11.2025 to distribute of stationary items and Laptops to students studying in the Nidanwala Primary school and Damminna Maha Vidayalaya located in the Damminna area of the Dimbulagala Divisional Secretariat.
Major General JSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander, Security Forces - East figured out the basic needs and launched this programme with his conceptual guidance. The event was organized under the supervision of Major General GPP Kulathilaka ndc, General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division. The event was successfully conducted by the Brigadier SDKWMMI Weliwita RWP RSP USP psc, the Commander, 231 Infantry Brigade with the support by Major ACW Gunasekara RSP, Commanding Officer, 12 Battalion the Gemunu Watch and his troops.
The financial contribution to make this program a success was made by the CEVA Logistic Lanka (pvt) Ltd. As another social service provided by this institution for low-income children, the Director of the CEVA Logistic Lanka (pvt) Ltd, Mr Ranil Polonowita and all members of the company contributed financially for these Stationary items and Laptops. Cultural dances performed by Nidanwala Primary School and Damminna School students enhance the glamour of the event.
