DISTRIBUTION OF MATERNITY ITEMS AND DRY RATION PACKS TO PREGNANT MOTHERS IN LINE WITH THE 76 ARMY DAY

Under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of the 24 Infantry Division, Major General KW Jayaweera USP psc, and in line with the celebration of the 76th Army Anniversary, a donation of maternity items and dry ration packs for 50 pregnant mothers was held at the Aalayadivembu Cultural Hall on 15 October 2025 from 0930 hr to 1100 hr.

The event was conducted with the participation of Commander 241 Infantry Brigade , Assistant Divisional Secretary of Akkaraipattu, MOH Aalayadivembu and Akkaraipattu, the Regional Manager of Hemas (Pvt) Ltd, the Public Health Inspector - Alayadivembu, Midwives, and Civil Affairs Officer of 241 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer of 11 SLNG, Senior Officers, Officers and other ranks of 241 Infantry Brigade and 11 SLNG.
