The closing ceremony of the Battalion intelligence Course 01 was held on 14 July 2025, under the patronage of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc.
The course, which commenced on 30 June 2025, successfully concluded after two weeks of training and engagement, with the participation of 14 officers and 103 other ranks.
During the closing ceremony, the 12th Battalion intelligence Team was recognized as the Best Team, while 2/Lt A.A.T. Dananjaya of 12 GW was awarded Best Student for his outstanding performance throughout the course.
The event was attended by Senior Staff Officers, Commanding Officers of the 7th and 3(V) Corps of Military intelligence, instructor officers, and a large number of other ranks.
