TROOPS OF THE SECURITY FORCES (EAST) CONDUCT SCHOOL CLEANING AND RENOVATION PROGRAM

Under the guidance of the Commander of the Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, troops of the Security Forces (East) conducted a school cleaning and renovation program on February 20, 2025, as part of the Clean Sri Lanka initiative.

Troops from the 22, 23,and 24 Infantry Divisions, along with personnel from the Logistics Command operating under the Security Forces (East), actively participated in the program. As part of this initiative, renovation and cleaning activities were carried out at Mawanagama School, Babarawana School, Pashupradeshwaram School, Kappetipola School, Aselapura, and Leelarathne Wijerathne Central College.

The event saw the participation of the General Officer Commanding, the Logistics Commander (East), senior officers, other ranks, officers from the education office, teachers, and parents, all contributing to the success of the initiative.
