COMMENCEMENT OF DUTIES AS THE NEW GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF THE 22 INFANTRY DIVISION

As a 33rd General Officer Commanding of 22 Infantry Division, Major General HDLS Perera RWP RSP ndc was taken over the duties on 13 February 2025 at an auspicious moment.

The new General Officer Commanding was received guard turnout and guard of honour at the 22 Infantry Divisional Headquarters. Then General Officer Commanding planted a tree and addressed the troops and finally attended for the all ranks tea.

All staff of the 22 Infantry Division, Brigade Commanders and Commanding officers participated in this event.
