Troops of the Security Forces (East) conducted an Eastern Beach Cleaning Program on 16 February 2025, in line with the Clean Sri Lanka initiative.
" Clean Sri Lanka Beach Cleaning Program to protect our shores, preserve marine life, and create a cleaner, greener future!"
The 22, 23, and 24 Infantry Divisions operating under the Security Forces (East), participated in the program.
The Commander of the Security Forces (East), Major General P R Pathiravithana USAWC psc along with General Officer Commanders, 33 officers, 543 other ranks, members of civil organizations, and civilians, also took part in the cleaning initiative.
