Under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding, 24 Infantry Division, Major General K.W. Jayaweera USP, psc, 1x12 troops from the 11 (V) Sinha Regiment actively assisted in removing a tree that had fallen on a building of Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya, Batticaloa. The tree was brought down by heavy rains affecting the area under the 24 Infantry Division, which is under the control of SFHQ (E).
The troops took necessary measures to successfully cut and remove the fallen tree from the school building.
