Security Forces (East) Conduct Coconut Planting Program

Under the guidance of the Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, a coconut planting program was conducted to commemorate the end of the 30-year war and to honor the war heroes who sacrificed their lives for peace.

This initiative aims to expand coconut cultivation across the Eastern Province and enhance the national coconut harvest. The program officially commenced at the Security Forces Headquarters (East) premises with the participation of the Commander Security Forces (East), the Project Officer of Security Forces (East), senior officers, officers, and other ranks of the headquarters.
