RECONSTRUCTION OF THE ROAD FROM PULIPANCHIKAL TO KIRAN,

Under the guidance of the Commander 232 Infantry Brigade and the Commanding Officer of 12th Battalion, Sri Lanka National Guard, a restoration programme was carried out in response to the recent adverse weather conditions.

Accordingly, part of the road extending from Pulipanchikal to Kiran within the Korale Pattu South (Kiran) DS Division were reconstructed. The programme was conducted on 20 January 2026. The participation of 2 × 10 troops from the 12th Battalion, Sri Lanka National Guard.
