In commemoration of the 76th Army Day, a community welfare programme was organized under the guidance of the Commander, 243 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Pradeep Kalupahana USP psc, on 10 October 2025 at Swami Vipulanandar Elders’ Home.
As part of this civil-military cooperation initiative, lunch was provided to 20 elders and staff members at the facility, demonstrating the Army's continued commitment to serving the community and fostering goodwill among the local population.
The event witnessed the active participation of 03 x 20 troops from 243 Infantry Brigade, who contributed to the preparation, coordination, and distribution of the midday meals. The programme was conducted in a dignified manner, maintaining military decorum and in alignment with the values of compassion and service that the Army upholds.
Such initiatives aim to strengthen the bonds between the Army and the civil society, while honoring the spirit of Army Day through acts of service and solidarity.
