The Commander Security Forces Headquarters (East), Major General JSBW Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, conducted an inspection visit on 21 January 2026 to review the progress of the ongoing construction of a house for a Soldier S/167458 L/B Madushanka MAGD of the 9th Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment. The house is being constructed in the Parakkramapura area under the responsibility of the Security Forces Headquarters (East).
L/B Madushanka MAGD a Non-Commissioned Officer, hails from a family with five siblings. His parents are unemployed, and all five siblings are currently attending school. The construction of the house is being carried out under the guidance and supervision of the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery and the Honourable President of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch.
During the visit The Commander Security Forces Headquarters (East), closely inspected the ongoing construction work and reviewed its progress, providing necessary guidance and observations.
The inspection visit was attended by the General Officer Commanding of the 23 Infantry Division, the Commanding Officer of the 9th Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment, senior officers, officers, and other ranks.
