GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF THE 22 INFANTRY DIVISION VISITS THE BISHOP OF TRINCOMALEE

The General Officer Commanding, 22 Division Major General HDLS Perera RWP RSP ndc paid a courtesy call on the Bishop of Trincomalee, during which a cordial discussion was held regarding the prevailing disaster situation in the area. The Commander 22 Div briefed His Lordship on the measures undertaken by 22 Division troops to assist affected communities, including relief distribution, rescue efforts, and ongoing humanitarian support. The Bishop appreciated the timely intervention and continued commitment of the Sri Lanka Army in safeguarding and assisting the civilian population during this challenging period.
