Due to the prevailing severe dry weather conditions the residents of pallawakulam village which belongs to the kuchchaweli Divisional Secretariat Division, have been facing great difficulties as they are unable to meet their daily activities and basic needs of their children because of the lack of drinking water.
On the instructions of the General Officer commanding 22 Infantry Division and the Commander 221 Infantry Brigade, Col BAMC Beligaswattha RSP under the guidance to the drinking water was distributed to the residents of pallawakulam village on 14 October 2025 supervision This programme was Conducted of the civil affairs Officer 221 Infantry Brigade.
Through this initiative strength was Increased between the Sir Lanka Army and the Muslim community.
