Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General P. R. Pathiravithana, USAWC psc, paid his first official visit to the Logistics Command Headquarters (East) at Minneriya on Tuesday, 25 March 2025.
Upon arrival, the Logistics Commander (East) warmly welcomed the Commander, Security Forces (East), who was honored with a colorful Guard Turnout at the entrance. Following the formal welcome, he planted a Nelli tree and posed for a group photograph with the staff officers and officers of the under-command logistics battalion.
Afterward, he received a comprehensive briefing from the Logistics Commander (East). Before departing from the Logistics Command Headquarters (East), the Commander shared a few thoughts and compliments in the visitors’ book.
Furthermore, he addressed the troops operating under the Logistics Command at the auditorium of the 3rd Regiment, Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps. Concluding his visit, he made a final stop at the Army Base Hospital, Minneriya.
