ANOTHER COMMUNITY PROJECT BY 12 GW - DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOL STATIONERY ITEMS AT PLN/DIM/MANPITIYA SINHALA MAHA VIDYALAYA AND MANAMPITIYA TAMMY MAHA VIDYALAYA.

Program was held on 03.01.2026 to distribute of stationary items to students studying in the Manampitiya Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya and Manampitiya Tamil Maha Vidyalaya which was located in the Manmpitiya area of the Dimbulagala Divisional Secretariat.

The event was successfully conducted by Major ACW Gunasekara RSP, Commanding Officer, 12 Battalion the Gemunu Watch and his troops.

The financial contribution to make this program a success was made by the Ashoka English Medium School, Horana, for the benefitof low-income families, this project was carried out by Venerable Dr. Labugama Narada Thero (Principal of Vidyarathne University College, Horana, and Managing Director of Ashoka English Medium School), along with the academic staff, the students, and their parents. Further, government officials of the Dimbulagala DS Division was participated for the event.
