The 5th Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery proudly delivered their final presentation of the battalion course on 14 July 2025 at the Battalion Training School, Punani. The event was a significant milestone in the regiment's training journey and showcased the professionalism and dedication of its members.
The topic of the presentation was the “Mavil Aru Operation”, a historically important military operation that highlighted the strategic and operational excellence of the Sri Lankan Armed Forces. The presentation was executed with precision and enthusiasm, capturing the critical aspects and lessons of the operation.
The event was graced by Commander, Security Forces (East), Major General J.S.B.W. Pallekumbura RWP RSP ndu psc, who attended as the Chief Guest. The Commanding Officer, along with other officers, joined the presentation team in marking the occasion. Also in attendance were the General Officer commanding of the 22 Infantry Division, senior officers, officers, and other ranks, reflecting the significance of the event within the military community.
The final presentation not only demonstrated the depth of understanding and teamwork among the regiment members but also served as a tribute to the professionalism and training standards upheld by the Sri Lanka Artillery.
