3 (V) BATTALION OF WOMEN’S CORPS COMPLETES BATTALION COURSE

The 3(V) Battalion of Women's Corps proudly completed their battalion course at the camp premises. The training conducted by Battalion training school – PUNANI. Marking a significant achievement in their training and professional development, On 12 November 2024, the course concluded with a formal closing address delivered by the Major General S A Kulathunge RWP RSP VSV USP psc, Commander Security Forces (East), who praised the dedication and performance of the participating soldiers. During his closing address, the Commander Security Forces (East) commended the women soldiers for their hard work, resilience, and commitment to excellence.

Ceremony and awards.

The event recognized the exceptional achievements of the women soldiers, who received trophies from the Commander Security Forces (East) and other senior officers. Special awards were presented to those who displayed outstanding skills in various aspects of the course.
